The Enforcement Directorate raided multiple locations in Delhi including the head office of National Herald newspaper.
The development comes days after the probe agency questioned Congress president Sonia Gandhi and party leader Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald money laundering case. A 35-year-old man of African origin with no recent history of foreign travel has tested positive for monkeypox in Delhi.
This is India’s eighth Monkeypox case and Delhi’s third. The man was admitted to the Delhi government-run LNJP Hospital on Monday, they said, adding that he is in stable condition. The first Monkeypox patient in Delhi was discharged on Monday night. Read full story
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to land in Taiwan on Tuesday evening in defiance of Chinese threats.

Arrested minister Partha Chatterjee’s close aide Arpita Mukherjee claimed that the cash seized from her flats in Kolkata does not belong to her.
During interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate, Mukherjee said the Rs 49.8 crore cash seized from her two flats in Tollygunge and Belgharia was kept during her absence and she has no idea about it. The former Bengal minister and Mukherjee were arrested in connection with SSC recruitment scam following several raids in Kolkata.
